FROM JB:
It was pretty hot outside during the visit to the zoo so I wasn't surprised the big cats would be lounging and fairly inactive. I did hang around for quite a while to see if any would suddenly wake up, lose their balance and fall out of the tree they were sleeping on but it never happened. While the animals sleep, there's plenty for the humans to read and learn about the beasts.
FROM JB:
The kangaroos were pretty chill. Again, with the heat and humidity, they were staying close to the ground and shaded areas. After all the walking, I needed a break so I cozied up beside a new friend. Again, I had that fear of getting kicked or punched in the face but I left uninjured.
