FROM JB:
It's been close to 10 years since I'd been kayaking and it certainly wasn't through a city. It was out on open water and truly an intimidating experience. With River Queen Voyages in Nashville, it was incredibly easy to get the hang of it on the near-still waters of the Cumberland River.
Annie, aka the River Queen, gave me a quick refresher before we were off and on our way. It's not a difficult activity. She was guiding me along the way, especially when a boat came speeding in our direction and only slowed down as it approached which rocked us around a little but thankfully there was no tipping or wetness.
